This page explains, in plain language, what The LA Wedding Photographer (Michael, based in Los Angeles) collects through this website and what happens to it.

What the inquiry form collects

When you send an inquiry, the form collects what you type into it: your name(s), email address, phone number, the type of event, your date, venue or location, the package you’re interested in, guest count, how you heard about us and your message. We also record the time of the submission and your IP address, which helps us block spam.

How it’s used

Your details are used only to reply to your inquiry and, if you book, to plan and deliver your photography. Your inquiry is delivered to Michael by email and kept in a private log on our web host so that nothing gets lost.

We don’t sell your information, and we don’t share it with anyone except the services needed to run this site and our email (our web hosting and email provider).

Analytics

We may use analytics and session-recording tools, such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to understand how visitors use the site and to improve it. These tools can set cookies and collect information such as the pages you view, how you move through a page, your device and browser type and your approximate location. They are used only to improve the site.

Your photos

Your privacy is always respected: images can be kept out of public view on request.

Your choices

To ask what we hold about you, or to have your inquiry details deleted, email michael@thelaweddingphotographer.com.
